Shiv Babu Dubey is a Cybersecurity Professional and MCA graduate from NIT Bhopal. Demonstrating high analytical rigor and academic excellence, he achieved an All India Rank (AIR) of 327 in the NIMCET Exam and placed in the Top 100 in the CUET Exam (2023). He also holds a Bachelor of Computer Applications degree from MGKVP University Varanasi.
He completed a Cybersecurity Internship in SOC Operations (CIRT) at Texas Instruments, where he specialized in real-time alert triage, threat hunting, incident response, and phishing analysis. During his tenure, he leveraged enterprise tools including Splunk SIEM/SOAR, SentinelOne EDR, Proofpoint, and OSINT methodologies. His key technical contributions included automating real-time threat notifications via Splunk SOAR playbooks, configuring subnet KV stores, and designing identity anomaly dashboards.
Integrated with a strong full-stack software development background in Java, Python, SQL, and the MERN stack, Shiv effectively connects application-level security with practical SOC operations. Backed by industry certifications from Splunk, SentinelOne, IBM, and TryHackMe.
Currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science & Engineering Department, Shiv is actively involved in teaching programming and computer science concepts, mentoring students, and developing practical learning experiences. He is passionate about continuous learning and aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry-oriented technical skills
