
Assistant Professor
Ms. Madhavi is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering and a researcher specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Computer Science. She has submitted her Ph.D. thesis in Artificial Intelligence, with research focused on AI-driven solutions for plant and Leaf disease detection using deep learning and computer vision techniques. Previously, she served as an Assistant Professor for 6.5+ years, during which she taught undergraduate and postgraduate students and contributed to curriculum development, student mentoring, and academic activities.
Her research interests include deep learning, computer vision, explainable AI, data analytics, and intelligent systems for real-world applications. She has authored research papers published in prestigious IEEE Transactions journals as well as SCI- and Scopus-indexed international journals, reflecting her commitment to high-quality research and innovation. Her work focuses on developing AI-based solutions for challenges in agriculture, energy, decarbonization, sustainability, IOT, Federated Learning, and related domains.
Passionate about teaching and research, Madhavi enjoys mentoring students and fostering critical thinking, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
