Prof. (Dr.) Dattatri K. Nagesha is a scientist, academic leader, and entrepreneur with extensive experience in higher education. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Oklahoma State University, USA, and an M.Sc. in Chemistry from IIT Madras. His academic and research career has included leadership and research positions at institutions such as Northeastern University (USA), JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSSAHER), Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE), and GITAM University. Dr. Nagesha’s research interests encompass nanotechnology, nanomaterials, biomaterials, tissue engineering, polymers, and materials science, with a strong focus on translating scientific research into applications of societal and industrial relevance. His scholarly work includes numerous research publications in areas of drug delivery, nanomaterials, and advanced functional materials.
In addition to his research, Dr. Nagesha has held significant academic leadership responsibilities, contributing to curriculum development, research ecosystems, interdisciplinary education, and institutional advancement.
