Dr. Keshlata is a distinguished academician currently serving as Assistant Professor in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, IILM University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. She has previously held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, School of Liberal and Creative Arts: Social Sciences and Languages, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab. She has also been associated with SRM University, Sonipat, and Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, and pursuing more than 9 years of teaching experinence.

Her academic and research interests include Scheduled Tribes, Gender Studies, Environmental Studies, and Health. Dr. Keshlata has authored 45 research publications in Scopus-indexed journals and contributed some books, and chapters to academic books. She has participated in 17 national and international conferences and 11 national and international workshops. She was also part of a one-week educational study tour to the United States, sponsored by Columbia University and funded by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Gautam Buddha University, along with an M.A., M.Phil. (Gold Medalist) in Sociology, a B.Ed. from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, and a B.Sc. from the University of Delhi. She is a life member of the Indian Sociological Society. Dr. Keshlata has supervised five Ph.D. scholars. She also holds five copyrights.
